Crime Prevention Initiatives

James W. Glasgow believes that the responsibilities of the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office is not only to carry out the duties set forth in the office, but to determine how the office can assist in prevention of many of the crimes and activities that make up the day to day routine of prosecutors and law enforcement.

There are two primary methods of addressing this need; 1) to find opportunities to educate groups that are most affected by crime, and 2) to intervene in the complicated processes that contribute to the development of people choosing to participate in criminal activity. For information on how the State’s Attorney’s Office can assist you in making our communities safer, please call 815-727-8742.
