Internships
The Will County State’s Attorney’s Office has many internships available, from opportunities for qualified high school and undergraduate students interested in a career in law, to school-year and summer internships for qualified law students, including 711 internships.
Interns are required to assist the support staff and assistant state’s attorneys in the division to which they are assigned. Most of the work assigned to interns is clerical, however, interns will have the opportunity to observe in court and witness and participate in other office functions.
The purpose of the internship program is to provide students with a working knowledge of the functions of the largest law office in Will County, the criminal court system and public service careers. It is the state’s attorney’s expectation that our internships will encourage further education and help in future successful career choices.
Internships are paid or, in some cases, can receive course credit. Interns are sought year-round.
